If I had a button, that would erase every human on earth, but leave the rest of the world intact, I would push it. I would end you all. No offense.
where do 'you' want me to start? popularity only counts in politics, getting laid, or running a business. the real universe begins, where the human ego stops. sometimes the majority figures things out and gets them right. this is usually about the time its being ignored. frequently it gets everything a little bit off. then you get people who pretend they're conserving, whatever it is they pretend they're conserving, who use this as an excuse to only care about themselves, and ignore what they are doing to everything else in the process.
give it another hundred years, or maybe only another decade or so, and what we're doing to the environment, is will more likely then not, have a somewhat similar effect. (a big part of that is because there are so many of us. that is what multiplies the harm of everything else. you can't just tell, everyone not to have sex and expect that to happen. if nature were sapient and smart, pollution would destroy fertility. too bad its not. sex itself wouldn't even be a problem at all if fertility didn't exist and no one opposed lowering fertility so they could have children.)
I'm not keen on quizzes (even if I know all the answers) I think Mc D's & Burger King are hugely overrated (although, being the huge hypocrite I am I do occassionally go to Burger King) I find the fantasy of certain things to be much better than the reality! I think smart phones make people dumb! Sometimes, being a bit of a weirdo makes me feel smugly superior! I think a lot of change isn't really progress, it's just change for the sake of change
Oh & trolling! I think it's kinda sad that the term troll has morphed in it's meaning over the years to (it's gone from alt profile winnd-up merchant) >>> Plain old nasty person. Old fashioned trolls can be hilarious!
If you're in a serious relationship claiming to love your partner, and you've agreed to not see others, you should be mindful of what you post online to others. Online cheating is as hurtful as offline cheating. If you wouldn't want it done to you....
Wow, this thread. Especially that first page. There's a lot of miserable people on Hip Forums. I know this thread is really old and most of the people posting ate no longer active, but oh my God. Did you read some of those posts? The world needs more hugs.
Having an unpopular opinion is lime preferring vanilla to chocolate and thinking the Beatles were just meh. Saying more people should have abortions because you don't like kids, or thinking religious people are beneath you isn't stating an unpopular opinion: it's bitching about shit that doesn't affect you. It's the same mentality that leads to straight people protesting gay marriage. Why are people so worked up about what others are doing?
