if you (any-you, non-specific-you) dont want to pay property taxes (ostensibly to schools) then i dont want to hear you bitch about fast food employees not knowing how to math. or any other similar something.
i pulled my kid out of public. we are still recovering. but its already better. but i will be god damned if all the morons he shares an age group with can't manage to add/ subtract. property tax is a pain for those who dont have kids, or those who have them and are paying (out of pocket or with time invested/ homeschool) to educate them. but you really dont want to deal with sub-standard product in your every-day life.

i always vote for more taxes. i know they arent using them wisely, but they cant ever say i did not pay, offer to pay, or vote to pay them. their failure is on them (the edu-dept/ govt)
but i wont vote for kids to be left with less of a chance. our gen is giving them the fecal end of the stick. the least we can do is give them a rag to wipe it off with too.

ETA: i think there was more i wanted to say, but im full of scotch an forgetful regardless of alcohol.
i pulled a ton of weeds today, and planted transplants from my moms yard. shes moving down south, MS soon. i dont like it. im mad if i think about it too much, so im mostly ignoring it and doing productive other-stuff. so sweet woodruff is half- planted, and i got a bunch of seedum planted and some muscari. more to do tomorrow despite the rain expected, but the rain will help the plants settle in, so no big deal.
cilantro still awesome, hip-high and delicious. my dad made a lovely pico de gallo with it, i dont think hes ever cooked with my crops before, lol. its rreally good cilantro though. mmmm.
i have some beans and peas coming up too, and some flowers. they are so slow, i def need the super-early-season flowers for next year. i have saffron crocus that should get here in september, and a bunch of early stuff from my mom's. my borage is coming up in lots of places, so that will fill in well, and its edible as a green, or for the flowers.

anyway, to sum up:
ive done a lot.
im working hard.
i have lots more to get done.

for now, imma shower and hope hubby feels like some nekkid sexy time before i crash,
hes snoring now, so chances of satisfaction are slim, and chances of masturbation are very high. fucking bummer.

Jeebus, we just finished the Euro Coca Cola 600 mile race on the sim @W Charlotte Motor Speedway. 24 drivers started, 3hrs and 44mins of hard racing. Came 3rd. was a 2nd place car but made a mistake and suffered some Aero damage late in the race had to make do with a 3rd but went up there and led some laps!

 

This is a picture of my mom, taken in the '60s, before she was married. She kind of looks like Molly Ringwald, lol. She passed away when I was still a kid so I never really got to know her all that well. Mainly I remember doing anything I could to get on that woman's nerves. Yeah, I was a little bastard.
