I Feel Humans Are Horrible

The driver of GVF 1111 is a horrible human.

 

I still think there is something very wrong with taking away that statue though

 

I haven't been religious for many years now, but when I watch this it makes me feel good about people.

They are. People amaze me. I really should have made a thread requesting people to share stores of humans being extraordinary, that's kind of what I was going for but didnt explain myself very well. I regret any negativity this thread may have put out there in this big ol' confusing universe. But, sometimes the sadness and human misery in the world overwhelms me and I was just having one of those days

I am glad you had opportunities this week to have your faith in humanity restored!

 

If you made a thread for good stuff people do, it would just in the end a list of people doing stuff for people.

And i'd still be sceptical, someone posts in such a thread, Oh when I was sick, this guy helped me out, be is such a good guy....and i'd be like, uhhh huh, and when the tables are turned and he's sick are you going to lift a finger to help?

Whether you are a good person on not seems to be based on what people that call you good can get out of you

 

the universe isn't personal, but if you're too busy being hateful or angry to care how you influence it,
then there's no reason to be surprised if it bites you on the ass.

humans are like just about everything else in it,
all different kinds of ways.
worse and better and everything in between and side ways too.

humans aren't good, bad nor indifferent,
like anything else, they're all three.

doesn't matter if you can get your mind around how the universe works,
its still going to anyway.

Your post made me think of these commercials I've seen with people doing nice things for others. They call it "Human Kindness".

With your request to be proved wrong, you could search online for nice videos about the goodness of humans.

 

They'll be cloying attempts to pull at your heartstrings being monetized as click bait.

 

The majority might be shitty but I don't deal with the majority. They're also generally not that concentrated so you can encounter the good ones almost everywhere.
Some are merely shitty because of our own perception. Others are perceived as good mainly because they're in some way beneficial to us

So I tried to Google a bunch of touching pictures of humanity being charitable, empathetic, and all the wonderful traits that might make you rethink your position.

They could be so good if I would be in charge. Humans only seem so horrible because they just need to be properly guided

 

America changed after 9/11. People who were cool suddenly turned into assholes.

It does matter who is in charge.

 

I've never been in America btw. People are perceived as horrible beings everywhere
