Diversity is our strength?

The US has historically been a “melting pot” of various ethnicities. Not sure why some act like this is a divisive thing? Our culture is diverse, so why wouldn’t the workplace (naturally) reflect that?

If the workplace naturally reflected diversity, then lets stop enforcing diversity.

Racism used to be a bad thing. Now the bar is so low that everything is racist. Another example of why leftists are their own worst enemy. They cheapen evil.

 

I agree some diversity can be a good thing. There's a lot we can learn from other cultures and people with different worldly perspectives. I'm a fan of the exchange of ideas.

Some cultures are more advanced, and better than others, but even we can learn from less advanced cultures. For example; although it would suck to live like a tribal hunter gatherer in the Congo, they can teach us some pretty awesome wilderness survival skills.

 

Employers have incentive to discriminate againt minorities and women because they are a liability.

Yet another example of why leftists are their own worst enemy. Crying foul left and right ends up biting you in the ass.

 

But there are many people who don’t wish to have a diverse workplace. So, in that opposition, the reaction is to call for diversity training, hiring, etc. which I’m not an advocate for pushing gender and ethnic quotas as I think that creates forced diversity, but racism prevents natural diversity. I think people often view the term racism in a broad sense but if you have an issue with the workplace being diverse, what should we call it? We hear phrases like “white privilege” and I think it’s overused personally, but labels aren’t all bs. Some of this is social justice warrior stuff, but racism is unfortunately a reality.

 

But then again, they risk the negative publicity nightmare from predatory journalists if they have a predominantly all white, all male staff.

It'd be nice if the diversity police would all just disappear.

So what are all the minorities supposed to do to support their families?

 

Just saying its one reason why minorities and women are not represented equally, and its the left's fault for making it like that.

 

Ie. NOT racism

 

Distance yourself from social justice warriors, but quack quack waddle waddle

 

Distance yourself from men who think that putting down women and minorities, means they're alpha.
