Holy cow it's been raining day in and day out all week!

The little creek in my back yard has got to be 2 feet deep at least!

 

What, exactly, are you doing with your free time that you need all this hand surgery?

 

We had a sinkhole open up 'round here because of the rain.

Also, Celtics are going to kick the Blazers' ass tonight

 

I once partied with a few of the Blazers players back when I lived in the same building as Ray Felton when he played for them.

Yeah Lillard was there for part of the time. But he didn't stick around.
I tried to invite Lamarcus Aldridge and some of the other players to play basketball with my friends and I at the community center just so they could annihilate us all on the court , but it turns out that NBA players are under contract not to practice outside of the NBA, because they risk injury outside of the game.

 

Makes sense. Anyway, Lillard is one of my most favorite non-Celtic NBA players.

Hope he wasn't a dick. That would break my heart.

Another time I hung out with the Blazers was when I was studying for an exam in the commons room of that same apartment. On one end of a very long table I was studying, and on the other end, 4 of them were playing Texas Hold 'em. Once I got done studying they said I could join in, but the buy in was $500 for the chips. DIdn't have that money on me at the time. But that would've been a great story to tell.

I miss those days. Came to an abrupt halt when I got married.

 

We had a few bridges collapse last year from flooding caused by the hurricane that came through. That's a scary thought, being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Shit, I had no idea there were black hockey players! Never seen em, never heard of em. Now that's uplifting (for me)!

 

I had pasta for dinner and ughh I feel so bloated now. It's first time I had pasta for a while, because I don't particularly enjoy it and well, this isn't helping! I'm going to go run a salt bath see if I can't sweat some out with a bottle of water. my heads pretty in a good place from the hydro.
