yeah, that's exactly it, too.....After awhile one learns...or they should, it is like a sweet, unsuspecting kitten being lead to slaughter by a pack of wolves or wolf.

Being in love can do that to you.

First time I was in love with someone, she was behaving very sketchy, and hanging out with the wrong crowd. I saw all the signs, but ignored them. Big mistake.

I'm not in love with this friend lol I'm married, this used to be a good friend of mine, but last year, I found out she gossiped about something she and I talked about privately. She apologized, and then does it again, recently. She also humiliated me so at this point, I'm just not responding to texts, voice mails, and letting it go. Even if she apologizes, I wouldn't trust she meant it, at this point.

But, I did get played by guys in the past when I was dating, so you're right. Love can make you gullible.

    Thank you :)
I feel better today. Think for me, it is less about the other person when these things happen, and just upset that I gave the wrong person another chance.

Yeah, that's the best thing to do, is just avoid her. That's sad to hear when your friends you trust go blabbing off at the mouth about private things you've shared with them. Some do it to show off to other people at your expense. Horrible...

yeah, the gossipers...........makes me think of a painting I once saw with a sweet girl in the center with a bunch of hags whispering and gossiping away. People seem to like to destroy anything good, rather than celebrate it, sometimes. I made an illustration of it once with dolls called Burn witch burn.
I have had it done to me.....and even have been tricked to confide in people, only to have them blab everywhere about what they found out....some of even twisted my words.....and made up things even if they had nothing.

I learned a long time ago, as i had a mom that gave me the best advice ever. I did not like it at the time....but at least she was honest..."Don't ever trust anyone not even your own mother..."

so I have always kept the most important part of me hidden andin reserve for those I hold dearest, which has been very few. It takes a lot of time, to observe, share, experience, etc, to get to that place of trust with anyone, though......and you know it is there and never have to wonder.....

Having some Tazo green tea N honey.

After I let the tea bag sit in the hot mug for about 10min, I pull the tea bag up and hover it above the mug, I squeeze, roll and compress the bag to get every last tea juice out.

Wonder if this squeezing ritual is even necessary....

Yeah, I don't think you can rake the strands of squash out until you bake it. I thought about putting it back in the oven after mixing sauce into it, but it doesn't really absorb the sauce the same way pasta does. It's really not an accurate substitute, but it's not bad.

What is a good substitute for pasta other than noodles of some kind ? Eggplant, I suppose.....I guess I can just eat my sauce without it on anything , too....

So many foods are not very good tasting without sauces, seasonings on them anyway. I cannot think of many things that taste great all by themselves.....besides some fruits, berries and some vegetables.

I don't think there is a good substitute to be honest. With the substitutes you get sauce on pasta. With actual pasta, you get the marriage of the two things: sauce with pasta. That's how it should be.
