Ah okay. Cool. I don't like the Spanish horse shows that make the horses stare at the ground. Horses don't wanna fucken stare at the ground ya bunch assholes. It's cruelty.

At the Austrian Spanish Horse Dancing the horses are made to stare at the ground all event. Like neck down staring. At the ground.

I've been to this stadium in Vienna a few times, I feel like a dick because it's sooo high class and fancy and I don't wear that shit lol. I'm a farm girl. Nevertheless I love the horses. But see how they're staring at ground? They have to do that all show. They're not allowed not to. I think I've actually sat in these seats too hehe.

Well, in dressage they keep their heads down too. My mom is a tomboy farm girl too. Never understood why horse ballet appealed to her. She can braid her horse's hair. She never braided my hair when I was growing up! If it wasn't for my stepmom, I'd be a lot more rougher around the edges.

 

Haha, yeah I dunno there's something magestic about horses. I was trying equestrian a few years back but I came off my girl hard and really did a number on myself. 4 broke ribs, 6 snaps in my shower, broken wrist and elbow. So I don't do that now. Instead a few times last year I hung out near the starting gates at races and my job was to trot up to all the other horses and calm them down before the race.

My mom was pretty bummed I didn't share her love of equestrian sports. She still is.

But...surfing happened. Pretty much killed any chance of me getting on a horse

cool.. horses did take a little extra beating on that. sugar glass and balsa wood tho. hard to control that many horses when filming something so large.

 

My mum is boring like that lol I don't think she's ever taken an outside interest in anything other than housework and getting her family in line. Well she spends a lot of time preserving our 600yr+ family tree book. Think she goes to big publishing archive and scans them and prints them. She's been at it for years.

But we always had a farm so we always had horses so naturally I was going to get into that I think. My sisters never ride anymore, but they live in a city so it's hard. They also cost a lot hehe. But I get free stable at my work, or if not then I just go to the uncles farm.

During riding season I'm always in the Alps and woods, usually tracking wolves. In saying that the hunting board claims to have seen a black panther about lol. What a load of horse shit. I'll have my rifle just in case next time though lol.

buddy at the shop installed 2 used tires on the front of the van no charge because he said it was dangerous to let me leave on the tires i drove in with .thanks dude.. dude has a Gold 70 chevelle station wagon in his shop and he has hot wheels of the same car on his desk

"They" used to trip horses to make them fall in the old cowboy movies until some other "they "made "them" stop. Must have been pretty brutal for the horses.

 

i remember one called heavens gate or hells gate...i think it was the one that really kicked off animal rights in movies...if i remember right a whole bunch of horses died during filming

 

heavens gate is those morons that mass suicide themselves
