I did NanoWriMo once, like...god, 10 years ago already. Finished my novel, printed out a couple of copies for my mom and grandmother, and that was the end of it. But I finished a novel, so that was cool. I never did try and do anything with it. It was more like I wrote it for me, not for an audience.

Anyway, one of the reasons I joined up here in the first place was because of the writer's forum, and I've never contributed a thing. Wrote a few blog posts on here, but that's all. Trying to get back into writing despite real life always being, well, real life...

Speaking of writing, I'm going to just do it and share the poem I've been sitting on. It's probably not even as great as I thought, but I think it's one of my more clever and deeply felt ones, so...see you in the writer's forum??!
