i propose that all people who argue about gun control proposals should go buy a gun and shoot themselves

 

To be honest, I'd quite like a small pistol. But I'd be kind of nervous to have one, it would take some getting used to. Anyway, handguns are highly illegal here in the UK. Sometimes I think I must be pretty psycho to even think like this, but I'd do anything to protect myself. I also often wonder what are the circumstances you can use a handgun in the US and get away with it, like in self defence?

 

my ruger mini14 was given to me on my 13th birthday.. 35yrs now, it hasnt killed anyone. maybe its defective..

We finally have some frost but its not worth much... Just cold and windy and you have to scratch your car windows in the morning.

I think guns are for weak people and cowards. Swords are far much better.

I find I must admit and say I find it most interesting and even somewhat endearing that you have these chickens...and the beautiful Captain helps keep everything under control...and have I seen a CAT appear lately???

^^^ you may just be saying words to say them...but I honestly and truly believe this...PLUS it cannot be overlooked that there is, for the most part, no mental health help available for people in the US...and especially the young people desperately needing mental health help (and to be put somewhere) are being ignored until they shoot up a school and/or themselves.

You have to have MONEY - seriously to where money isn't "a concern" - and a deep desire to seek mental help in this country. The younger the person, the less able they are to do this. It MUST come from parents...and you don't have to be a psychic or sociology major to know way too many parents don't give a damn and/or can barely look after themselves OR they themselves are so fully screwed (fucked up) they can't help or see to help anybody else, even their children.

 

I think the future looks so bleak to some people they just want to make a name for themselves.

 

I just read on FB where my friend in Eugene is SO SO SO unhappy because the icy snowy mess is going to mess up her pluot tree.

and yes I had to google that to see if that is a real thing...and apparently it is. lol She has a few fruit trees.

I can see that...but I also think how a person is raised has so very much to do with everything....not making excuses for psychos that shoot up schools at all

But still this kid that was posting shit (his intentions to shoot up the school) on damn social media before he decided to go do the deed! He was encouraged by other posters (who is surprised by that???)...why the hell wasn't someone noticing he was fucking telling and discussing this???

It makes me cuss and truly wonder just exactly what the fuck are some of these parents doing or not doing around their kids???

How in the holy hell does a kid walk into a school with a machete fgs and only get suspended from that school but not made to seek mental help. WHY wasn't he sent somewhere at least for a few day's evaluation?

How can the school administration be that stupid?!

If there is a history of a person being bullied and they walk into a school with machete..

.it should not be necessary to write it in the constitution that That Student that came to school with a machete needs to start getting counseling at a facility...as soon as they can catch him and "detain" (straight jacket) him.

 

that actually happened when i was in high school

the kid pulled a machete from his locker but didnt hit the bully with it....never saw that guy again...his father was actually a teacher too

im pretty sure he got sent out to what america calls juvenile detention...here we just call them youth facilities

 

So...This particular shooter (who lives easy driving distance from me and Mel) posted he thought he was gonna get help in a little while/ few days ... but apparently there was none coming.

So...he killed his daddy to get the keys to the truck, went to a nearby elementary school and shot it up.

Amazing there was one fatality at the school, and it wasn't instantaneous but a few days later the little boy succumbed to the injury.

what the actual fuck though

That could have been avoided so many ways it makes me sick
