Heat has nothing to do with it. If it tastes good I will eat it....unless it's too hot. That hasn't happened yet though and I have had buffalo wild wings ghost pepper wings. Although I could only eat 2 at a time.

Some funny audio from after the race, one of our race rivals had a shot at our team leader for having no job and could spend all day working on our setup. They said they practice and thought theirs was alright but they got annihilated in our race and had the shits they were so slow. They could keep up with the pack but couldn't race in it. So they got tail between legs trying to recruit better drivers and setup builders. We probably won't win again, but it doesn't matter to us because we swept the week, and especially in the 500 where it was an open set up and ours was dialled right in there. Apparently the race also hit over 500 viewers in the US as it was broadcast live on iRacing TV.

 

I am so dang put out right now...my phone (landline) has gone out...no dial tone...no calling in or out. I called the repair service to report it (no I did not think anybody would come out now) but fgs I thought there would be a way to record your phone number and tell them phone is out of service!

Of course I called on my eat-up-minutes phone and had to listen to a damnshitting menu before they got around to stating to report your phone needed to be repaired you MUST CALL DURING BUSINESS HOURS. AND the number I called was the "repair service"!!!!

I then went online to report it...after filling out 50 different things and answering another 50 questions...they ask for a flippin PASSWORD and something else - which of course I did NOT HAVE since it is NOT on the phone bill...they weren't interested in the PIN number which IS on the phone bill. I just signed off.

I am cussing and cussing and cussing.

Yeah he was so thankful for me. Some folks tried stir me up saying as if I would have not even Raced for it but I said it didn't really come across my mind, like it did, I wanted the win, but I'd never been there without him and it just so happened I was pushing him at the end. If I was in front he'd have pushed me. There was moments where I thought about trying a different line and bullshitting to him about it, but I was so happy coming off my win that, yeah, I went for the 1-2 team finish.

Yeah, I think this is very late in the race. Maybe 2 laps to go. Actually, that's at the checker flag. I remember the 21 trying to make a late move on me. If I went with him off of 4, I probably could have won.

 

In track racing there are people called spotters (I think?) that tell the drivers where the other cars are in relation to them...do y'all have spotters (or whatever they are called)? Or are you able to look in a rear view mirror of sorts and see them? How does that work?
