I didn't like it at first and it took me several years to come around and really sit down and watch it and enjoy it (2011). I'm hooked now, and when it ones on, I will sit and watch through episodes I've seen many times before. I can't get on board with "American Dad" though. Painful to watch. That alien character, Roger, screws it all up for me
It did take Scrubs a while to grow on me Family Guy was the opposite, I liked it at first but the humor is just monotonous, it gets on my nerves now
Problem with Family Guy is that if you don't get the pop culture reference, the whole joke falls apart and you're just sitting there going, "Huh...?" But I love how it makes fun of everyone. A lot of people are upset with shows like Saturday Night Live for what they see as a liberal slant and a Trump-bashing agenda (despite the fact that SNL has made fun of every president since the show began). Family Guy doesn't do that. They bash and make fun of everyone and everything. And that, to me, makes the lewd and off-color humor acceptable. But the show itself is hit or miss. Some really funny moments and other moments where I'm asking myself if it's time for the writers to throw in the towel.
9 bad jokes, one bearable. That's Family guy to me. The whole Griffin family is obnoxious. The old pedo with his paralyzed dog is funny.
Americunt--what's got you stressed? And oh shit, Family Guy. Haven't seen that show in ages, but it was real funny when I was in high school.
