What Are You Doing Right Now?

Can't stand Family guy. Wouldn't admit it if I happen to saw an actually funny bit

 

I didn't like it at first and it took me several years to come around and really sit down and watch it and enjoy it (2011). I'm hooked now, and when it ones on, I will sit and watch through episodes I've seen many times before. I can't get on board with "American Dad" though. Painful to watch. That alien character, Roger, screws it all up for me

 

Watching Coach Carter, with Samuel Jackson. Great movie.

 

havent watched family guy, cleveland, american dad, simpsons, south park .. in like forever.

 

It did take Scrubs a while to grow on me

Family Guy was the opposite, I liked it at first but the humor is just monotonous, it gets on my nerves now

 

Probably getting old now for a lot of people. 16 seasons.....

 

Problem with Family Guy is that if you don't get the pop culture reference, the whole joke falls apart and you're just sitting there going, "Huh...?"

But I love how it makes fun of everyone. A lot of people are upset with shows like Saturday Night Live for what they see as a liberal slant and a Trump-bashing agenda (despite the fact that SNL has made fun of every president since the show began). Family Guy doesn't do that. They bash and make fun of everyone and everything. And that, to me, makes the lewd and off-color humor acceptable.

But the show itself is hit or miss. Some really funny moments and other moments where I'm asking myself if it's time for the writers to throw in the towel.

 

9 bad jokes, one bearable. That's Family guy to me. The whole Griffin family is obnoxious.

The old pedo with his paralyzed dog is funny.

 

I love family guy. Started watching it in like 2005 or so.

 

True but the Simpsons is almost as old as I am and it hasnt gotten old

 

Being aggrevated by having no computer internet. I mean I could but it's more work than it's worth.

 

I don't care for Will Ferrell either, but Everything Must Go was pretty good.

And oh shit, Family Guy. Haven't seen that show in ages, but it was real funny when I was in high school.
