I'm waiting on my last firecracker of 2017 to finish cooking. 2017 was not a great year.

I usually am not one of those people that's All Excited for the new year...but I am dang anxious and looking forward to it this time. If everything goes as planned (that I remain alive lol) I will start drawing (early) social security retirement in 2018!

 

What an idiot. I guess the issue is he feels the firemen have driven too far on his tax dollars to shop. So frustrating my grandpa and uncle were both firemen. I seriously considered being one as well. They are on call for the entire shift which could be a few days. No breaks you never know when are needed. That's why they always travel in the truck. And you are feeding several hungry men who burn calories a lot. Probably why they go to the store with the best deals.

 

i may not even make it until midnight....pretty sure i slept through midnight last year too....i'm kind of a party animal like that

 

roads are ok here. so ill go out, get uber home. dont know how long ill last either.

 

Happy 2018 people. we've had a good night. Nice big fire roaring away in the drum and music and lots of pool playing and then hitting the boxing bag and trying to get the rabbits to mingle unsuccessfully with Axalta. It's been fun.
