This is awesome! To not only be an artist but to be involved with an art community. That sounds fulfilling.

The world is going to shit, I'm not even going to attempt to argue that...this place is a mess and we use too much goddamn plastic.

But it sounds like you're doing your bit to make the world a little brighter, a little more artistic. And that's cool, man.

Even us "posh nosh" people have times when everything seems to be falling apart, but their is always light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully you will find it soon.

Some of the greatest artists could have been thought of as bums while they were alive. Van Gogh comes to mind.

 

A lot of famous artists and writers lived as paupers with their work not selling until they died

That's actually sad though, I dont really find that uplifiting at all lol..if I ever create a work of genius I want to reap the fruits of my labor, damnit!

 

Drew Struzan, Alex Gray, HR Giger, lived to see the fruits of their labor as artists
