Want some cheese with that whine ?

I go to a circle group every Saturday. We are a group of cis males who are supposed to share and speak from the heart. I seldom speak and I am unapologetic about it. It's really quite simple. I don't generally speak from the heart because that includes shares of information that is not for everyone to know.
Instead of using the moment to reflect introspectively or consider whether they are ready for what it is they seek or request, they whine endlessly as to why they don't have things.
"Maybe you're going about this all wrong."
"Like what? What do you mean?"
"I mean, maybe you are going after people who are unobtainable, who are cold and selfish, who don't think much about you, who are bored by your interests and passions..." The list can be endless. And the list can be quite cruel.
I experience this myself. I look at websites for meet ups and whenever I detect that someone is looking for an 'adventure' a 'hiking buddy' or a 'FWB', I generally turn the other way. The last thing I want is to have conversations with someone on the treadmill next time mine jabbering away.
Oh well. I just forgot about, "What's said here stays here here here." So, I will break for now!
