I know the feeling, maybe it is time for a road trip, away from the madness of city living, tired of winter, the noise, the news, the paranoia of people. No one happy.
Do you have seasonal depression?

Thanks. Maybe i do need to get away on my own.

I don't think its seasonal depression. I don't feel depressed. This is something i never felt before that's been boiling up for about a year. Its like a lot of things all at once maybe. Mainly feeling confused and empty.

for me, I find focusing on one thing helps. DOTS! LOL forgetting everything else. go on a mission of your own. taking photos of something, searching it out and just focusing on one small thing, blocking all other thoughts out of your mind and doing something and focusing on something that makes you content, satisfied and relaxed. a time always comes where we need to shut the world out and be in it, without the politics, and all the other stuff that comes along with it. that helps me.

as for seasonal depression. by February, for me, the darkness and lack of daylight starts to get to me. longing for warm summer days and looking out, just seeing darkness overcast skies. with the way politics are these days it just adds to it. Like there is nothing positive that anyone says. I don't become suicidal or anything, just not as happy and can be a little agitated being inside so much. Like we lock ourselves indoors more in the winter and are not out amongst people as much. With Corona as well, it is keeping people in even more, which can bring on feelings of isolation and a disconnect.

I probably rambled too much. Sorry. I do hope you feel better soon. Spring is just around the corner.

OK , so your screen name is total darkness and your blog says that you can’t differentiate between reality and fantasy but you don’t feel depressed . That however doesn’t mean that you aren’t suffering from a mental illness . I encourage you to please consult with a professional. The people on this forum are kind and well meaning but certainly not qualified to council you to do anything other than seek a professional evaluation .

I'm cursed with the knowledge of what I found out. Big things are happening as yesterday again today. Be wary
