Well, after 3 cancellations, I am 17 days away from my knee surgery! I can hardly contain myself. I am going to be self isolating from now on in apart from when I have to go for a covid test ( a requirement ) and to say I am getting rather excited is a real understatement!
The only fly in the ointment? Cases are rising again in my area! Who are these fuckers who don't stick to the rules? Who are these fuckers who do not wear a mask? Who are these fuckers who may put my surgery on hold yet again?
Only consolation? Not so many hospital admissions of positive tested people. Small comfort I know but, hell, I got to grab what positivity I can!
