Seafood, Shellfish, Bottom Feeders

Not sure that I agree with the definition of seafood. Where I come from, seafood is the type of marine life that is definitely not on the Kosher spectrum.
I have allergies to shellfish. No shrimp or lobster for this user.

I don't know that I agree with the definition of seafood. It says, "Any fish." To me, seafood is any non-Kosher fish. It's funny how some people will be open, ready, willing, and/or able to eat a burger at almost any kind of burger joint. I wonder if they feel the same way about scarfing down fish. I sure don't. I remember the first time I was dragged to a Benihana for dinner. Besides being frighteningly uncomfortable with the juggling of knives, I noted that all the food was prepared on the same griddle. The cook would scrape the oils and juices from the previous dish before preparing the next.
The thought of consuming salmon with shrimp secretions on it was not all attractive to my way of thinking. I have never returned to such a place ever again.
