"Eccrine glands secrete sweat directly to the surface of the skin, which does not produce a smell, while apocrine glands, found in areas like the armpits and groin, release a milky fluid that can produce body odor. Body odor can vary from person to person and may smell sweet, sour, tangy, or like onions."
"Common Causes of Foreskin Odor
" Poor Hygiene: If the area under the foreskin is not cleaned regularly, it can lead to the accumulation of sweat, dead skin cells, and oils, resulting in an unpleasant odor. This is particularly common in uncircumcised men, as the foreskin can trap moisture and bacteria.
" Smegma Buildup: Smegma is a natural substance made up of dead skin cells and oils that can accumulate under the foreskin. If not cleaned properly, smegma can become thick and cheesy, creating a foul smell and potentially leading to infections. Regular washing with mild soap and water can help prevent this buildup."

What offended me was that a member of the group was attempting to turn me into a convert. Apparently, not everyone believes in the importance of cultural competence.
