"What is the meaning of life?"
I was surfing the posts and adverts that are found on F A C E B O O K; postings by friends, by FB friends, by corporations and advertisers that may vie for my business and by phishers (or fissures).

If you've been phished, you should cancel your credit cards immediately.

- to make fissures in; cleave; split.

Sorry, but the reference to fissure was a bad attempt at humor. Falling upon the ear with a dull, sickening thud! I am mindful of online quizzes that claim my real age might be guessed based on the way I answer questions. This is nothing more than potential database compilation. To that I say phooey!
I've thought about the praying that goes on in my life. It's strongest when someone has died. It appears again on Friday at sunset when I light candles and pray for myself, my friends and family, and for the countries I love. I generally end with a wish for an end to war, hunger, and socio-economic inequality. I do not pray for sporting events and I GENERALLY do not pray for winning lottery numbers.
I have purchased an awesome device to rid dust from the home. It is a German vacuum, Miele, and it comes with 4 attachments. I would say it is head and shoulders above my ELECTROLUX that had since bit the dust after 40 years of service. Of course, a vacuum only work when it is plugged in and moved about the place. Trust and believe, I live in an environment where spiders love to set up house. I hate cleaning, scrubbing, or throwing out garbage. I dislike doing yard work. At times I wonder why I had the notion that home ownership was for me. But it has been a relatively secure place for me to live and I have never been told that I needed to leave because I could not afford rent or because the universe needs to build tract homes in a guard-gated community where my monstrosity stands.
So, I am now inspired to wake up with prayer and to include clean up with greater frequency in this home of mine. Let's cross the fingers that this will be a lifestyle changer! "From your mouth to G*d's ears!"
