He Said, "They Called Me Sandni**er!"

I went with my friend, Phil, to Hayward to buy a new-for-him used car.

I was helping him financially and I gave him a lift to the car lot / dealership. The salesman was from some Middle Eastern country. I didn't ask. He did speak briefly of his arrival to the USA (I'm guessing in the late 1970s) and told us that he had been called a sand n*gg*r. I had heard the term before and thought it was repugnant. My opinion hasn't changed over the years.

I wonder why someone would share something like that. I don't recall every telling anyone that I was called 'faggot', 'Jew,' or 'kike,' while I was growing up. I prefer to forget about those hateful days. Of course, hateful days are still with us during this administration. But that's for another chapter.
