I am curious to see if this will put me in some alter-Universe like the so-called Facebook jail.
Well, it's been here for a while and folks have looked at it and nothing has happened to me. We choose our social medias. FB is the one I have of choice. I had 'played' with Twitter, but I never really understood what I was doing. I want my friends to chat with me.
The 'book, however, has its drawbacks. I am shocked at the number of people who monitor my awake-time/screen time and might even comment on it. "Oh, I see you posed something at 11:30 at night. Didn't you say you get up at 4:30?" Hmm... yes, I did. And yes, I do. And WTF is it to you? One (former friend) got insulted that I didn't want to have a long telephone conversation with him. When I hung up I decided to recharge myself on the social media page. "Oh, for me you don't have time to speak unless you're in your car between destinations!"
I've taken to tell people that the phone is not attached to me at the hip. That's actually true. Sometimes it's in my knapsack. Sometimes it's on a table in another room. Sometimes it's right next to the keyboard but I'd rather finish my card game or cruise for local guys on another program that talk to someone.
I've noticed fewer folks complaining about jail time. I guess as long as they don't lambaste Israel or the democratic party in America, they can continue to use the service without any hitches.
BTW, the picture below is a rendition done by AI. It was made with a photo of me when I was 20. Strangely enough, I tell everyone that it's an old picture of me from the 1970s that just gets superimposed into whatever. Some folks just don't read!
