Last weekend we went hiking to Conasauga Falls, TN. I was in my barefoot. It was 40 degrees. The cool leaves and mud felt good on my feet.
We spent the evening in Gatlinburg, TN. I was barefoot there as well. I was in a jacket, long pants and barefoot. I got a few smiles from others walking around. The only smirks and head shakes came from a few men. I think the combination of bare feet and a toe ring puts them off. My wife wanted me to put my sandals on because she was getting cold watching me walk around barefoot. The answer was no. Hadn’t great day being barefoot.
I was in Utah with my dog a few weeks ago. She enjoyed making snow angels and I enjoyed the snow on my bare feet. We both had a good time.
