Summertime by the river

so peaceful -- beautifully taken!

I'll swim in it.

Bet there's a trout near those rocks. I'd like to try a cast between them!
Do you know who that is in the picture?
Is that an old furnace behind her?

It's usually a raging torrent

It's just a brick tower with no obvious entrance. There are various fishing spots along the river and yeah trout.

Thank you. Whole different ball game in winter. I would never have got the photo in winter because of ice and sometimes snow. Plus the water is a great deal higher and that changes the scene totally. I know it looks peaceful but the noise of torrents and small falls further up is tremendous.
