It looks like one of Alexander Calder's many kinetic sculptures, but they all have curve to them. This "Flamingo" in Chicago is a typical example.
@NubbinsUp Calder worked with many media. In Barcelona I once saw an exhibit of miniature Circus performers, which were all kinetic, capable of movement. Some were actually shown in motion, there were a hundred pieces or more... at the Museo Joan Miro. A good friend had an original Calder oil hanging in her house on St Thomas. It was all geometries of course... I do not rememebr who created the sculpture at the Kruller-Meuller in the Netherlands. I do recall you had to bicycle or walk into the midst of a large park to get to the museum. Free bikes at the entrance were fun!
