Jan Rose Kasmir's Peace Protests

The first photo was taken of me at 17 in front of the Pentagon, protesting Amerika's involvement in the war in Vietnam Almost 40 years later, I protested the impending occupation of Iraq by marching in London. I am ashamed of Amerika's role in destroying any hope of world peace then and now. Kofi Annan said that the UN is only as strong as the support it gets from its member countries. It is not perfect, but it is a step in the right direction.
