Harvesting trees

Trees piled 15 ft high and over mile long each side of rd,, least our loggers do it right,after harvest they replant,, its amazing how many complain about harvesting trees but u all want homes,furniture decks ect,, without proper management and harvesting regulations land would be stripped,

      Harvesting and replanting monoculture trees is OK, but logging old growth is NOT!

      In my last assignment with the US Forest Service I was lucky enough to work on the Spotted Owl recovery effort, a T and E species dependent on old growth. Old growth is indeed a National treasure. Also worked on managing 2nd growth forests in the Lake States.
