      Around here there are wild ponies, small horses once farmed for meat during WWII. After the war the owner set them free to roam.

      Glad to hear the horses are doing well there!

      rather breathtaking to be jostled around on sage & lava rocks and come upon these horses living free in hills looking out over entire Shasta Valley.. from Klamath River to Mt Shasta..

      it's like "hey.. leave us alone!"
