Not sure I understand "free development of human personalites."

      WTF?

Never seen those words together except from those involved with the development of AI.

Could you be more vague about the goal of a free society?

For me to have a free society you must first have freedom of choice with minimal restrictions like with freedom of speech.

Freedom ends when it affects others without their consent.

@Toker "Free development of human personalites" is from the original document, mentioned several times. I was just using that language after rewording it a little, so that it was also quoting the document so people who read it would see that. And it talks about what you are bring up too when it says "in the exercise of his rights and freedoms, everyone shall be subject only to such limitations as are determined by law solely for the purpose of securing due recognition and respect for the rights and freedoms of others and of meeting the just requirements of morality, public order and the general welfare in a democratic society" (if I understood your reply correctly, all of it).

In the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the phrase "the free development of his personality" is used to define the ultimate goal of exercising one's rights and fulfilling one's duties within a society.

This phrase appears in two key articles:
Article 22: Highlights that the realization of economic, social, and cultural rights is necessary for dignity and "the free development of his personality".
Article 29: Establishes that the "free and full development of his personality" is only possible within a community, implying corresponding duties.

Additionally, Article 26 emphasizes that education should aim for the "full development of the human personality". Together, these articles signify that the UDHR aims to enable individuals to flourish and reach their full potential, rather than merely ensuring basic survival.

"the free development of his personality"
      Should read:
"the free development of his personality by the elite."

      There, I fixed it.
