Golden Teacher Mushrooms

@gentlesenior Yup, my first time growing any sort of mushroom. The first few were kind of small and as I would have expected from what I have researched but the second flush produced some really large ones. I got a third flush with a few big ones and some small ones. Even had a fourth flush when I thought it was done and wasn't even checking it anymore but only a couple. I have yet to try them as I have never tripped before and would be doing it on my own, I'm a little nervous to try.

I actually grew some 40 years ago! I grew them in mason jars full of barley (I think it was barely or some other grain). The mycelium grew throughout the grains and was just starting to fruit. Then my daughter was born so I ignored them for too long and they dried up. I was bummed.
It you decide to consume your crop just make sure you are in a completely relaxed area and space. No unannounced visit or calls. Get rid of your cell phone, total buzz kill. I love being in the woods camping while sampling. Also don’t eat much if anything before tripping. Mushrooms are much milder than all the other hallucinogenic out there. Laughing is my favorite part of shrooms. Do tell us of your adventure should you decide to experiment. If you want a Guinea pig to sample, let me know.
