I hope, then, that you're using polyurethane condoms. Otherwise, you're seriously risking condom breakage using oil-based lubricants, which significantly weaken latex.

I strongly recommend using a water-based lubricant, such as KY or Wet. Water-based lubricants won't damage latex.

As for Nonoxynol-9, the spermicide has just been withdrawn; new research has found that it has harmful side effects.
