I don't see the problem..! In fact its my fav way to end breakfast and really start the day. And that's only one reason I really want coffee with my breakfast :p
And if this is mainly about lack of energy in the morning: its like I feel the energy flowing right through me the moment I get rid of last days food. It often feels like a good shit in the morning gives me more energy than eating breakfast!

Hmmm, I've read it's good to have lean protein as part of every meal.

Good advice, but it has to be a pro-biotic yoghurt to get maximum benefit. Better still, learn to make Kefir, which a kind of fermented milk drink.

I've had to take lots of anti-biotics this year, and I definitley think either of those options can help. I'd say kefir is better than pro-biotic yoghurts.

My breakfast usualy consists of 2 cups of tea - Lapsang Souchong, little sugar, no milk. I rarely eat until I've been up for a coule of hours. If I have to take meds that are recommended done with food, I eat a breakfast bar, even though that's a bit of a cop-out.

A high protein meal is best to start off the day.

    Rollin has no problem there.

something filling that doesn't make intestinal gas pain by being teasing or releasing too much sulpher or carbonation.
this is why i don't eat traditional breakfast food for breakfast as most of them do.
you do want quick and easy of course for when you're still half asleep.
hamburger is really good for that if you're not vegan.
if you are, i'm not sure what to suggest.
peanut butter sammich to go with the morning mocha maybe.
that has lots of protien without being gassy.
lots of things frozen, freezedried or prepared the night before.
i really avoid greasy and suggary, which america for some strange reason seems to love,
but again, personally, my intestines have a problem with them on an otherwise empty stomic.
same goes for coffee, believe it or not.
those meals ready to microwave that are packaged to take less then a minuet in a big micro, or a minuet and a half in my tiny one.
not super cheap, but not super expensive.
dry cerial with milk and chocklet are ok, but not as the whole meal.
really if your awake enough for it, or wake up that way, breakfast wouldbe couldbe shouldbe the big meal of the day,
that in a few hours you'll be burning off, instead of the last meal in your day you go to bed on and makes you fat in the middle of your sleep.
best thing is to scedule your day to wake up at least an hour or more before you actually have to be anywhere,
even if that means going to sleep early to get enough sleep,
so your morning never has to be too rushed for it to be the big meal.
and so you know, the kind of things people usually have for dinner, make the best kind of breakfasts if you can do them.
meat mushrooms gravey noodles, all that.
and for meat, not greasy like bacon or bangers (boilded bangers are ok though, with noodles, if they're not gassy for you)
