    considering that you can get a few hundred pounds of beef from one cow, not that many...LOL

    Uhhmmm, isn't it because of the fat content?
    70%, 85%, 90% beef.
    the pink looking meat is 70%, the red is 90%
    read the label.

    I dont think that's it, I looked it up and it looks like it is due to the age of the meat which explains why the pink stuff is cheaper. Fresh meat has more myoglobin

    But I did find a list of grocery stores that still carry meat with pink slime. Lucky for me, my usual store stopped carrying it in 2013

    I had my doubts about their new signature burgers, didn't want to try them at first. But to my surprise they taste delicious, and a totally different taste from all the other ass food on their menu. I guess because I like the new burgers so much, maybe I'm just curious about what they will surprise me with next. I'm not a McDonalds fan at all, but unfortunately my wife and daughter like going there. Got to find a happy medium, man.
