^....... Ikea Are Advertising For A CEO.....Why Not Apply.....You Have The Experience...... Cheers Glen.
Update: they told me to fuck off since I defecated in one of their locations back in 2015. Apparently I was banned for three years.
Don't bring me problems, bring me solutions. P.S. You could use that management-speak line in your interview r0llin.
The disadvantages named so far in this thread keeps me from going too. I can deal with annoying people in the same space just fine, esp. when i can focus on my own thing. But if i have to wait for them to use a certain device my enthusiasm rapidly fades. I also still laugh at people who drive 10 miles to the gym for mainly cardio exercise... But yeah, routine is slightly easier to uphold if you have a gym where you steadily go and can use all the right machines etc in a row (instead of doing it at home by yourself all the time).
I forgot to mention I belong to the Silver Sneakers deal, so I get the gym for free with my Medicare supplement. My gym, the entire thing almost.
The only people who annoy me at gyms are the dudes lifting weights who scream and grunt every time lift something. It's kind of distracting and embarrassing. Otherwise, I like gyms and don't find the people in them particularly annoying; I like to exercise. A good gym is mainly useful in the winter when it's difficult for me to get outside and run.
Do any of you workout with your partners/spouses? We sometimes do, my husband and I run together sometimes, but he likes to lift, and we'll go to the gym together, at times.
Yes, my wife and I go together, but do different workouts. So we have to co-ordinate so we end up about the same time. I stay out of the cardio room, but my wife does ride a cadiobike for awhile.
My folks have some kind of coupon for that. I was under the impression that "Silver Sneakers" was simply a class that is offered at the gym, but that you would not have access to all the features of that gym. Do you get to use machines and regulate your own workouts, or is it just an aerobics class for seniors?
