Muslim While Banking

A Muslim family was arrested and questioned by Kansas police after attempting to deposit a check at a Wichita bank. The check was for $151,000 that they had received after selling their house in Michigan. The father had been admitted to college in Wichita into a doctoral program for engineering. That was the reason they gave for moving to Kansas. The father decided to bring supporting documentation to show the bank where he had acquired the funds; after all, he understood the times he lived in, and the place too. When the banker saw the check and the way the Muslim family was dressed, he called the police. The police showed up and arrested and or detained the entire family, father, mother, and children. After some time. the White Christian Evangelical Republicans of Kansas realized their own stupidity and let the family go. The father later told the press that he was sure White Christians also sold homes and deposited money in banks. He asked where the American equality, civil rights, and constitutional protections were to be found.

 

I hate to say that I'm not shocked or surprised, but I'm not.

 

The crazy deal is they were trying to put money in the bank, not take it out. Apparently the right wing evangelicals in Kansas had a tough time grasping that concept.

I don't know. I don't know what their deal is. It's got to be a shitty time to be an American Muslim who just wants to live and let live.

That family sold a house and tried to put the money in the bank. They did not engage in a terror act. The act of terror was carried out against them by American bigots from Kansas.

The bank manager called the police and told them Muslims were trying to deposit a large amount of terror money. The cops admit that much. The Christians did not think Muslims should have that much money. This is a text book case of Christian bigotry.

 

So you think they should not be allowed to put their money in that bank?

However, there are protocols for depositing large sums of money in the bank.

 

“Officers on scene made attempts to verify the legitimacy of the check, and were unable to do so,” police said in a statement.

 

It would be a non story if they were White Hillbillies got arrested and checked out

 

So if you see a Muslim depositing money in the bank you would run to the cops every time?
