So did they cover it up again with plywood? What has the The Committee on Campus Space and the minority coalition decide with regards to the murals fate and historical significance? Sounds like they are rewriting the meaning of it and adding their names to the history of these events too. This really is rediculous.

 

The painting depicts Massachutes Col Ephriam William and Mohawak leader Hendrick Tyagonoga. They are reviewing a map to prepare for The Battle of Lake George in 1755. Both died in the fighting during the Bloody Morning Scout.

There is a statue in his memory at the Village of Lake George.
