Antifa can be a potent line of defence against fascism in America, but they do have to tone down their rhetoric and reactivity to prudent levels, and channel their energies into fighting fascism through spreading awareness , creating meaningful dialogue, debates and discussion of its demerits.

Trump was not a deplorable racist nazi sympthazer for denouncing Antifa, He was (an is) a deplorable racist nazi sympathizer for suggesting moral equivalence between the torchlight paraders chanting "Jews will not replace us" and "blood and soil" and the people who turned out to oppose them, who were not all or even mostly Antifa. Heather Heyer was not Antifa. And I support Noam Chomsky for speaking out against the masked criminal anarchist thugs who call themselves "Antifa". Why is that incongruous to you. All thugs who use violence against lawful authority need to be resisted--right, left, or center.

Noam Chomsky isn't incongruous to speak out against antifa. I was being sarcastic. It's actually a good thing that he is.
