Good to see May get a slapping down. She chanced it and has now fucked her self. If they form a minority government, they'll be effectively crippled. Good to see many young voters turn to Labour.
They Will still be in Government not Labour they Lost No one else can form a Coalition TBH I didn't care which party won as long as someone was able to bring stability and yes May cocked up But they still got the most seats Biggest looser seems to be the SNP
No majority means they might form a minority government, but they can be voted down on anything they propose that isn't to the liking of the combined opposition. Good too to see the death throes of UKIP.
Cons and Ireland.. if they agree, will she make it so they stay in the EU? Can't see that happening.. Good luck Britain, we are going to need it.. She didn't listen to the people before.. she won't now. 5 years of conservatives.. I'm done with this country!
Don't Even Think Of Moving To Australia... ...When It Comes To Accepting Another Convict........ I'm Sorry.....All Tickets Are Sold Out...... Cheers Glen.
Hung parliament, you guys are screwed. Regardless of your feelings of either major party, you cant do shit without a majority
We were screwed before May decided to shoot her silly self in the foot. The tories will now have to rely on the support of the DUP - a bunch of homophobic anti-abrotion climate change denying fundamentalist dinosaurs. One thing it's not going to be is 'strong and stable'. I only hope we won't have to have yet another election. It's getting tedious. 3 big votes in as many years.
Yes, let's go for another vote this year, then after brexit starts, people will bottle it, and go for a lighter exit, she is going to be a bitch! Homeless will increase, be prepared to give up your extra room tax for families.. You think I'm kidding...
Scotland was strong with the Tory love Cant wait to hear the artist formerly known as The Walking Dickheads' opinion on that Aye its a wee saucy rhesult ta tas ya fookin coonts
A couple questions 1 Piers Morgan - do any of you actually listen to that twit? 2. Was SNPs failure about a 2nd referendum or was it about Brexit? - the media, even the SNP themselves seem to want to blame the 2nd ref angle, I smell bullshit 3. How much of the result was just an overhang from love in after the first scottish ref? The SNP jumped up from near nowhere to 56 seats last election, then back down again On paper it pretty much just looks like Labour won what the SNP lost, although not in the same places The Torys ( i dont see why the plural is Tories if Tory is short for Toryism) lost 13 seats, but got a higher number of individual votes, 330 down to 317 - thats hardly a landslide I dont see how it means anything if they only lost less than 4% of their seats
May had a small majority, called an election to increase it, and then lost her majority instead. That means something.
Labor even though gaining seats Cannot form a government So what else can be done ? Even a labor SNP coalition would not be enough to govern the country
The blame is all down to Maybot if things now look even shakier than before. Probably 'hard brexit' is now going off the agenda.
Yes - and now the only way the tories can hold onto power is by shaking up with the DUP - an unholy alliance indeed.
This represents the biggest swing to Labour in an election since Atlee in 1945. Considering Labour were trailing by 20 points in the the polls some weeks ago, this is a major turnaround in UK politics, and bodes well for the possibility of a real socialist Government sometime in the relatively near future; as the progressive youth vote comes online in the years to come, the stuffy old guard establishment should see their days numbered.
8 reasons why the DUP Tory coalition is the one you should worry about 1. They want to legalise discrimination against LGBT people 2. Homophobia is deep-rooted within the party 3. They are anti-women's rights 4. They oppose gay marriage 5. They want to ban begging 6. They support the death penalty 7. They are besties with UKIP 8. They could hold the balance of power within a weakened Tory government led by weak Theresa May (Taken from a 'Nobody likes a Tory' Social media posting)
Ok well explain to us how Labour can gain control I already said its Impossible for them to form a government ? Yes its a mess But how can the country move forward ??
