standing in a big que in the supermarket or at the bank when you have a list as long as your arm THINGS TO DO TODAY and the customer at the checkout or counter starts telling the cashier their whole life story and the person is about 120 years old ...........oh shit thats me .
I always use my turn signals. But I have heard that said about the BMW driver many times. There are definitely some rude people who own them. I just love the M cars and always have but I like to think I am polite on the road. I saw this video and realized I have a pair of sunglasses just like that and I do wear them when driving though. http://youtu.be/XKH5Gd92k74
thanks people who tell you to "smile more" when you meet them. i am working, there wasn't anything to smile about, and its comments like that that make me ironically less wanting to smile.
People who don't pick dog poop up, worse still, the people who let their dogs out to poop everywhere and can't be arsed to take them..
Drivers of those huge FWDs who can't even park them in the supermart car park. Even worse than the BMW crew. Back in the day I owned cars that cost me less to buy than the tyres for one of the fuckers. Groups of nutters on motorbikes too, especially when a whole line of them overtake where they can't see a thing round the corner.
oh, is this strictly a UK thing?? because these hangnails are driving me insane tonight!! (too lazy to get the clippers, but that's just where I'm heading after I log out.) grr!!!
I am more often annoyed with myself than the failings of other people. I have learned to accept disappointment with a degree of equanimity, and try to employ Schopenhauer's method of "infinite resignation" in the face of adversity.
I'd say that's a good way to be. Look to yourself first before casting blame. But sometimes you just encounter annoying people or things - politicians for instance, where it's nothing in you, nor any fault in yourself that's causing the problem. Even then though, you can try to avoid too negative a reaction. I think a balance is needed between resignation and resistance. Too much resignation and they'll walk all over you. Too much resistance and you might end up in a state of permanent conflict, which isn't the way to any kind of happiness or contentment.
When someone says to me at work: "Nobody around here know whats going on" I think to myself....Really!? Did you ask all 165 people that work here? -Or- When someone says to me at work: "There were no supervisiors around to ask so I left"(at 8) I think to myself ....Really!? There are 27 supervisors in this building (til 10), did you even try to look? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lb7XKOeXANM
^ Charlie Brown!!! Ok, not quoting because I have anything relevant to add, but I did not get a notification for this tag. Think it is my day to be glitch ingredients out. :/ ^hahaha haha that is courtesy of this Autocorrect! *Glitching out *facepalm* THAT is what truly annoys me these days!!! It's good to a degree to be able to look past people's shortcomings, but you should give yourself the same forgiving thoughts! I think I do criticize myself more, only because I have higher standards for myself...but then I fall short there and I just accept it now. Ha! Idk. I'm annoyed with myself right now though in writing this post.
