They have been saying robots are going to take everyones jobs for at least a decade now

Still no big advances in AI, we are no closer to driverless cars

And they have been trying with these sex robots in the same time frame, do they have anything remotely close to warm human skin, not just latex?

There are still many hurdles with AI that may never be achieved


I keep hearing these kind of op ed pieces pop up in the media.....and yet no one can even conjuring up a decent translator program, but AI is supposed to take over within a decade

probably not, but i wouldn't mind designing or making them.

everything to do with money is a form of prostitution,
just that not everybody realizes it.

now i wouldn't want to confine a sapient a.i., if there were such a thing,
to such a life, at least i don't think i'd want to buy that.

but something robotic, without self awareness,
to give other people pleasure without harming each other,
if i could get paid for making or designing something like that,
if i was smart enough and social enough to have a job doing so,
or start up a company doing so,
and i know there's hella money from making anything to do with that,
i don't see any problem with doing that.

if other people have a problem with that idea,
that's fine, they're welcome to also.

i'm just not that interested that i would buy.

I wouldn't expect to you to post that up. I personally don't dig that kind of thing much now more of a hangover from my teenage years. But heaven and hell are all part of the "Catholic" pantheon and better considered in the cold light of day than repressed too much where evil can fester and turn inward on itself.
