I didn't get the CactiGuys in the divorce, so I acquired new SP plants.
    Now I need to move.
    The cacti need repotting anyway.

I'll be driving, and the trek is three days/two nights. They are inside the vehicle with climate control. Add a day to pack them, including pruning, checking for rot, etc.

What's the best way to move if they cannot have a seat to themselves? The pots are just too big.

I'd like to take them to bare root, wrap in newspaper, and place in a sturdy box.
The tallest is 18 inches, smallest is a pup. I have five.

    Advice?

Bare root should be fine. Just make sure they are dry and protected from being squished.
