So I'm at an all out war with one of my pool friends about the Alien movie.

He says all my arguments are invalid because I'm butthurt that I didn't see the story develop the way I wanted to. So I told him I don't even understand that argument.

You enjoyed the storyline and so you thought it was a good movie.
I didn't like the storyline hence my personal opinion is it's a bad movie.

He says just because I didn't like the story doesn't mean it's a bad movie. I said just because you think it's a good story don't make it a good movie.

He then excluded all the small unrealistic details I had about the events that transpired in the movie in which he says I'm reading too much into it. ohh right!! I said, so I'm meant to just sit back idly and watch a storyline unfold where specific events aren't detailed in said storyline, unless it's shown in an upcoming directors cut, they just low balled the storyline and basically made a remake of the original. In which he strongly agrees. So.

I detail the exact similarities.

Passenger spacecraft is alerted to nearby planet from an SOS signal beacon.

Craft lands on new planet.

Squad find ruined crashed vessel.

Squad gets infected.

Synthetic droid problems.

Female blows alien out the air shaft.

Same movie. Same shit. XD he hasn't responded and we've been like sending essays to each other.

I couldn't sit and watch that whole thing, but... some of that eye massage stuff was crazy.
I practically felt that shit.

I put the baby hens outside for the first time today....they are a bit freaked out b the big birds.....I have them in their own pen so everyone gets used to each other

 

Just a little while ago I went outside to look for Princess, and didn't see her but was calling her. As I was standing on one side of the porch, I heard this odd sound coming from the other side...I walk around the porch toward the sound...and by the time I could see Princess standing there, I could tell what I was hearing was RATTLING! :yikes: I am standing there, in shock for just a second, listening to RATTLING. I have not raked this little area and there where I'm hearing the RATTLING I see the curve of a snake and I SCREAM PRINCESS NOOOO!!!

She glances at me, as she tries to trap something with her foot. NOOOO!!! :yikes:

I RUN back around the porch to get my snake killing tool (a sharp hoe that has sharp prongs on the other end)...RUN back to Princess...and call her nice and softly after I see what is happening...and (thank God) she turns toward me...then hops and runs to me. ?

OK - so I know I already have copperheads and their 1st cousins, the cottonmouths, at my house. Now it seems there is a new visitor, the rattler. smh ? ?
