Zelda Breath Of The Wild - Playable On Pc In 3 Days?

The Nintendo wii U emulator called cemu is rumored to be releasing an update on April 2nd. This will supposedly allow the new Zelda game to run fully playable on your PC. Version 1.7.4 will be available for patreon donators. One week later it will be available free for everyone. The current version 1.7.3 can already run the game but with some physics and powerups broken. Other games such as Mario World 3D, Super Mario Bros Wii U, and Mario Kart are already fully playable.

Version 1.7.4 is out for patreon supporters. I was seriously considering paying for it but a few things kind of turn me off from being a patreon. They should have a $5 one time payment to download, but it is a monthly sub thing that I'd have to back down from. Subscription shit always pisses me off. The paid version has some online DRM protection, which is also shit that pisses me off. Also, I have no way to tell how fast it will run until the free version comes out in a week so I might as well just wait another week.

Other than that, looks good. These guys do deserve some support if you use their emulator. It's not like the Nintendo cabinet at the local walmart is going to have any consoles in any time soon.

Wow, I've been playing for a few hours and the game is really playable. It's really amazing that they have emulated a game that just came out a month ago. It did crash on me a couple times but I just restart it and keep going. It says my FPS is about 20-30 but it actually seems faster than what it shows. There's a speed hack called Cemu Hook that adds about 5-10 FPS ( https://sshnuke.net/cemuhook/ ). I only have an old 8GB i5 2400 system with a GTX950 graphics card, nothing special really. Using an old USB wired Xbox 360 gamepad to play. Great game and great emulator.
