    The inverted pendulum example he gives in the article contrasts sharply with Mach's Conjecture where he notes that if we throw our heads back and spin in place the stars overhead will appear to move and our arms will fly out as if we are dancing with the universe. At the north or south pole this same effect can be seen in a free swinging pendulum which will rotate in a circle 360 degrees along with the stars overhead merely spinning in place as if the two formed mother nature's own clock. Here, the author is using pattern matching which, like assembling a puzzle, requires first working on the Big Picture, or the edge pieces, and then attempting to fill in different spots with relevant parts of the picture with his description suggesting a more humble or elegant systems logic can express the principle better.

    WTF?
    did you read the article?
    do you now what it is about?

    Every time you post a link to something and your synopsis of the content of the article I am always left with the same two questions;
    did you even read the article?
    do you know or understand what it is about?
