We didn't get one around us until about 95. Used to see the commercials but only had mom and pop stores. 3 of them in our one square mile town. (Although one was on the highway)
dont tell me your problems, you were the one that went looking for it on youtube...making certain it will stay in your head for a while to come.
Cosmetic ads Mascara ads the models are usually wearing false eyelashes. Black and white skin cream commercials, doesn't everyone look younger in black and white? I could go on...but I won't.
1877 kars for kids. Really it's only mildly annoying but they play it constantly on the radio at work. So that mildly turns into super annoying after a few dozen times a day.
Toilet paper commercials. Are there really people out there who don't know that this exists, and the different brands? lol
We have a really annoying one at the moment, nothing re-enforces toilet paper like a creepy pasty white cgi kid dancing to hip hop with angel wings in the clouds
all of them. if i need or want something, i have a top spec already in mind. what i need is a catalogue that gives me real specifications, not some idiot trying to sell me something just because that's what he does for a living. a universal catalogue of real specifications of everything is the only way in which on line marketing would be useful to me. (and as for television and other media marketing, think about it, every penny that is spent on expensive advertising, is NOT being spent on product development!) i also want to be able to go to a brick and mortar store and actually see the damd thing, whatever it might happen to be.
Haha, I remember watching a commercial for Charmin toilet paper with my dad once. In the commercial they were boasting that Charmin has "no pieces left behind" when you wipe. And my dad was like: "THINK ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE ADVERTISING". It came out of nowhere from him as he rarely talks, and I still giggle whenever I see a similar commercial.
