Been Given A Hp T5740 Thin Client.

    Been given a HP t5740 thin client, Intel Atom N280 (1.66Mhz), 2Gb RAM, 4Gb DOM, complete with keyboard and mouse.

    Anything I can use this for?

    Might set it up as a Home Entertainment unit for the bedroom, with Kodi installed. Until then, it'll be on the side as a pet project.

    If you wanted to go techie you could set it up as a dedicated firewall, running e.g. Shorewall, or Smoothwall Express (both free GNU Linux).

    You'd need to get a second ethernet port going. D-Link make external ethernet adaptors which plug into a USB socket.
