    The law will require video surveillance in French slaughterhouses.
    L214, an animal rights organization, says it isn't going far enough, since who sees the footage is limited. L214 makes exposure videos much like American AR groups do.

    From both animal welfare (rights die at the gate) and worker protection, video is a good idea.
