I listen to several of Randy/ Ozzys songs while I commute to work. I often think about where he'd be if he hadn't died in the plane crash.

Overall, Diary is just a masterpiece, thinking about Randy’s work. Few people seem to talk about this song, but SATO is off the charts. His attention to detail and variance of the riffs throughout is awe inspiring...

SATO, was one of the songs that stand out more than any other song .
I seen him in Quiet Riot in the 1970's and 5 times while he was in Ozzy .
Ever since 1980's, Blizzard Of Oz, he became one of my major influences on guitar.

I took Classical / Flamenco lessons from Juan Serrano because of Randy Rhoads .

"Don't speak ill of the dead," they say. And I'm not. But if Randy Rhodes was alive today, he wouldn't be so way beyond where many guitarists are today in the art of playing guitar. Eddie Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen, and many more were contemporaries of him, and they are all outstanding/amazing/incredible/________ (insert your adjective here) guitar players. In sheer ability, there may be guitarists better than Rhodes was. The thing that sets Randy Rhodes apart from all the rest is that he was the inspiration of so many of today's guitarists. They learned by watching him and emulating his style and technique. RIP Randy!

I assimilated many things Yngwie Malmsteen and EVH did, but Randy Rhoads blended Hard Rock - Embrionic Metal with Classical much better than Yngwie. Malmsteen .
I love Yngwie, but he lost my interest after the Odyssey LP , he's been repeating himself , rhetorically ever since .
I seen Rhoads in LA, with Quiet Riot and five times with Ozzy .
He was at a point where he was improving almost on a constant basis .
