I've never eaten rabbit or squirrel. Maybe I am missing out.

I've never been presented with squirrel but I have been with rabbit.

I declined.

They were rabbits that my brother was raising when I was a little girl. The count on the rabbits got up to about 30. I saw my dad and brothers killing the rabbits and throwing them in the back of the truck.

A few weeks later my grandparents came over with a box full of frozen meat wrapped in foil.

When dinner was served later that day, I found out what it was.

You've never seen such a little girl cry and raise this much hell. I'm pretty sure I made my granddaddy cry.

 

I saw the whole thing with rolling and Irmi too.
Never had squirrel or rabbit.
Local food store had frozen rabbit for sale...Wasn't interested.

 

I had a pet rabbit as a kid I was very attached to. I don't think I could do it. :bigcry:

 

i remember rabbit tastes like chicken

but i dont like them because when you skin them they look like cats


cant eat squirrel...my dad has but i just cant because they remind me of rats


pretty sure any rabbit i ate was actually wild varying hare....it would be weird to eat cottontail pet types

 

I told a guy at work that I see rabbits in my yard every day.
He asked if he could set traps up.
I think he misunderstood. I was saying that I liked seeing rabbits in my yard every day.

 

in my neighborhood ive seen coyote,red fox,silver fox,cottontail rabbit,racoon,bear,deer ,ermine ,grouse ,muskrat and skunk

seen moose nearby but not close enough to say it was my neighbourhood

the only ones i didnt like was those fucking bears

 

I usually just see normal stuff lik dogs, illegal immigrants, cats and sometimes possums

 

Around my house we see red fox, deer,raccoon,armadillo, coyote, possum, squirrel, and rabbit.

 

ive never seen live armadillo...just lots of dead ones in texas...road kills

only seen opossum on tv

 

fed my crows outside the chicken carcass.. and where is TY?.. I think its safe to come back now, not every thread is about Cheetos..

 

You're not missing anything. They aren't cute, nor are they smart.

 

some raccoon was drunk here, because I put out some beer in box and it had like backwash in it. whatever took the bottles out had to of had hands.

I used to shoot a lot of Rabbits for people ( when I did that kind of stuff )
Rabbits taste nice But stink to high heaven when you are Cleaning and Gutting them
Nobody wanted rabbits with their coats on so I stopped Getting them for People unless
They wanted them for their Ferrets !

 

the raccoons usually get drunk here from the rotten apples in the tree...

bears got them all before they rotted this year though...and probably ruined the trees in the process

 

Had a possum in my house one time sprayed it with a full can of bug spray.
It lived through that but later I saw it dead outside the window. Cat or dog could have gotten to it.

 

brother in law wants to go see star wars so were going tonight...not imax though but probably 3dx or whatever they call it
