If she divorces him, she'll get a bunch of dough. If she divorces him, he'll not get re elected because of all the gossip. .
That's the Republican plan. Eliminate all opposition, one party rule. They can't reach consensus with anyone who doesn't agree so they've decided to attack everyone who dares to have any ideas other than their own. The scary part is they aren't afraid to tramp on any law, propriety, moral, ideal, individual, group, or norm to get their way. The purge is in progress even as we post these messages.
Weird. Even for republicans I would say. But aren't certain republican politicians going against it? I notice there is division as well.
The problem is that this begins a process – say the Democratic Party get control, to redress the balance they are going to have to do the same trampling on norms to get it done. So the precedents are made that become the new ‘normal’ and government spirals out of control and people start calling for someone to take control and someone does and the US slips into authoritarianism. What is frightening me is that I see little evidence of anything stopping that fall.
Or she can just keep feeding him cheeseburgers and increase the waistline that Dr. Jackson says is not important. If nature takes its course soon, it will settle both the issue of the dough and reelection.
Yes, I was amazed that Trump asked the Republican controlled congress to give him the power to fire any federal employee who may disagree with him, based on pretext. America will not be America by the end of 2018. It is exactly what DG Stephenson envisioned in 1920 when he engineered the take-over of government in Indiana.
You are correct. The people of Iraq were made to be afraid of the Baath party and be afraid of Shiites, Iranians, Kurds, and others. Saddam came to power by meteoric rise in the party, just like Trump is doing today.
Trey Gowdy, my very own representative, announced today he will not seek re-election. And the people rejoice..well, a small minority of his district will rejoice anyways lol He stated he believes his talents are better served within the judicial branch than the legislative branch Putting this here because he has been a strong ally to Trump
FBI hitting back concerning Nunes' Republican propaganda memo. Nunes refused to answer when asked if his staff was working with the White House on the memo.
Trump's head of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has resigned amid another scandal. The CDC oversees anti smoking campaigns among other things. Turns out she owns stock in tobacco companies and bought more of said stock after Trump appointed her to the CDC. Can you say "conflict of interest?"
I was just going to write something on HF about Fitzgerald and her tobacco stocks. Every time I read the news, there is another article about a Trump appointee who has been put in a power position in a government institution when they have a direct conflict with what that agency does, and when they are opposed to what government services that agency provides to the American people, and when they wish to destroy the work of that agency. Why is that and what sort of government do Trump & Pence want?
Some of Trump's state of the union lies and deceptions: 1. He didn't give us the biggest tax break in U.S. history. 2. Wage growth is stagnate, not really improving by much. 3. He didn't save the auto industry, that was that other guy. 4. Same with ISIS. 5. Current immigration policies are not leading to domestic terror, as he claimed. 6. Chain immigration doesn't mean "a single immigrant can bring in virtually unlimited numbers of distant relatives." 7. He didn't send thousands and thousands of M13 gang members out of the country or put them in jail. 8. We are not a net exporter of energy, we import more than we export. 9. The surging stock market is not helping the majority of Americans. 10. The health care individual mandate is not gone, it remains until 2019. 11. He claimed 2.4 million new jobs due to his election, wrong, 500,000 of those were due to Obama.
And he claimed credit for wages going up when they have been going up since we got rid of that trickle down economics idiot.
Well, there you have it folks. The Republicans are playing games with Alternative Facts, as they like to call 'em. Devin Nunes wrote a memo in a way that left out important information so he could change the opinion of the public in a way that would make Trump look good and Mueller look bad. The FBI called it grave material omissions. And Nunes had only given it to them one day before voting to release this classified information...that he wrote in the first place. While all this Republican BS is going on, Nunes and his cronies voted to not release a Democrat memo that would clarify the misrepresentation by Nunes.
