Trump bans cell phones for staff and visitors.
Presumably that doesn't include Trump himself.
So much for transparency. Trump is getting pissed that the public is finding out so much about his administration.

Trump issues cease and desist letter to Michael Wolf and his forth coming book.
He also wants no excerpts or summaries and an apology!
As he's a public figure this'll go nowhere.

I am libertarian leaning. Hence, why I DIDN'T vote for Trump.

I saw this coming a mile away.

You say that as if its fact, but I have to disappoint you. It's not.
Any enclave in your country that's primarily identified by one race/ethnicity, and has seperated from the rest mainly because of misplaced fear and a superiority complex.

Maybe not steep down to your 'opponents' level by deliberately misspel words/names. It's not only kind of childish but a thread void of it (or with just one sad person attempting to annoy others that way) may even attract some reasonable convo partners.

I have get to figure out why an authoritarian leader like Trump would appeal to any self proclaimed libertarian or pot smoker for that matter. Well, at least you get it

I don't think any libertarians support him. But I'm confused as to why self-proclaimed conservative Republicans support him.

I don't get that. That doesn't make any sense to me.

It's like when Hilary won the Dem's nomination, political columnists and whatnot suggested that Bernie Sanders supporters were going to flock to Gary Johnson. I was like, "why would socialists suddenly embrace libertarianism?"

Oh well, further proof that people vote based on the most arbitrary of reasons.

So you are saying there was no "racial/ sociology-economic divide" prior to MLK? Because if you are that is ridiculous and ignorant. The Civil Rights movement was BECAUSE of that divide. Just like protest now such as kneeling in the NFL are because of a divide. I was not even alive in the 60's but I know people back then also said doing things like sitting on a bus or at a lunch counter were just making problems where there were none creating a divide. Since it's "separate but equal" people get along fine. And it's better that way because everyone can be themselves with their own kind.

Sadly the view that it's the people who talk about the divide also make it is prevalent among the Republican party. I've actuly heard Republicans the type who I gurentee you vote for Trump say that since after the Civil War black people were paid to work on plantations and since many black people found work where they were slaves there is no racism even then. Since the black person needed to be healthy and strong why treat them rough? There must have been some level of respect for them to come back and work in the same place? No not a lack of opportunity or support at all. And even then as "free men" still being viewed as less then equal by many. The abolitionists were a fringe group. They were probably some of the only people who might of truly thought a white man was the same as a black man.

I don't know why for decades the white people have been so angry about all this. There is a problem. It's just silly to say that Obama or any other black person somehow representing or talking about black problems is an attack on you. They are not just making this shit up. Why would they? What so they can pull some elaborate scam on the goverment and society? All the black and brown people get together and say "hey wouldn't it be funny if we all just made up a bunch of stuff and acted like white people are racist to us when in fact we will just be trolling white people and making them feel bad for no reason?"

It's sad to me a man like Martin Luther King would be looked at as an agitator when he always spoke of non-violence. He also was always well spoken and well dressed. The whole idea of him and his people is to ask for equality but also earn it with manners and respect etc. How else is a person supposed to protest? There were plenty of black leaders at the time who supported using the second amendment against white people in a race war to take equality. But because MLK was the most successful and well known figure in the movement he is the problem.

Trump exploits these ideas to his voter. White people are a victim even though we have all the advantages of society. Yes there are many cases of white suffering racism and hate themselves and other races manipulating people in some way. But a man like Trump or many white people can not possibly get what it's like to be black and pulled over for example. No matter how much you have committed no crime and are polite it's still a risk. That's why they kneel, that's why they need the front of the bus.

Growing up I heard Trump like grumblings about many racial issues from white people. I thought it was understood we were past this.:rage:

I notice Jeff Sessions is resuming the 'war' on pot. Waste of time and money.

So hate would be stronger than love then? as drill out of hate for a people rather than not drill out of love for the nature and wildlife and natural habitats and health of the planet? I cannot accept it

I don't know. I don't think the gulf has fully recovered from that BP spill. I don't think Alaska has recovered from the Exxon Valdez spill. The balls of tar-oil still trap aquatic life...like shrimp type small stuff. That means the fish can't eat. All life is dependent on other life. Trump and his cronies just don't give a flying barrel of oil about it. Just be sure to vote in the fall. We need to reverse everything and hold them responsible for the environmental damage and all the pain they've inflicted on poor people.
